The LAMProject’s mission is to translate the Scriptures to facilitate the planting of biblically reproducing indigenous churches among every population segment of the Kurds.

What are the Needs?

Currently, the Bible has been translated into the two most common Kurdish dialects, but few of the 7.2 million Kurds who speak other dialects can understand these translations.

Religious Identity

0.0% are evangelical. Traditionally, they fall into one of four Muslim groups: Sunni, Shia, Alevi, or Sufi while others practice the Yazidi, Zoroastrian, or Yarsan religions.
